EKO (John O'Connor) - Biography

John O'Connor (born. John O'Connor, was born in 1949 in London, England) - musician and composer, of Irish descent. Since 1987 lives and works in California. 

 The Early Years (1970-1980) 

O'Connor's musical career began in the 1970s. Creating his own recording studio in Walthamstow, north London,

called Bark Studios. After 10 years, he became more interested in playing music, and not just write it, so it becomes a session musician and plays the guitar with such renowned artists as Maddy Prior, Rick Kemp, Isla St Clair and Bucks Fizz. 

 

Eco (1989-1996) 

Success allowed him to move to California, where he began to write again, this time in a new direction New Age Music under the pseudonym of "Eco", recorded four albums on the Higher Octave Music between 1989 and 1996. The first album of the series "Future Primitive" (1989), reached the Top Billboard tenth place among the New Age albums and has sold about 75,000 copies. The following albums (Logikal in 1992, Alter Eco in 1994 and Celtica in 1996) - sold considerably less, about 30,000 copies.
