    Ludwig van Beethoven (Ludwig van Beethoven, December 16, 1770, Bonn, Westphalia - March 26, 1827, Vienna, Archduke Austria) is a German composer and pianist, the last representative of the Viennese Classical School. Beethoven is a key figure of Western classical music in the period between classicism and romanticism, one of the most performed composers in the world. He wrote in all the genres that existed in his time, including opera, music for dramatic plays, choral compositions. The most significant in his heritage are instrumental works: piano, violin and cello sonatas, concerts for pianoforte, for violin, quartets, overtures, symphonies. Creativity Beethoven had a significant impact on the symphony of the XIX and XX centuries.
